My 2023 Planner Setup
The most exciting thing about the end of a year is picking out your planner for the next year. Right?
I’m popping onto the blog today to share my 2023 planner setup with you. Read on for all the details, or click over to watch the YouTube video where I chat through all the details!
First in my lineup, is my everyday planner, the Hobonichi Cousin. I love this planner for it’s comprehensive layout, including daily pages for the entire year!
I use the monthly pages to plan work and personal events, and the weekly layouts are where you’ll find my to do lists. The daily pages are great for journaling and capturing ideas.
I’ve purchased a 2023 Hobonichi Cousin to continue my system. I’m happy that this year Hobonichi offered an English version of this planner, so that I can enjoy reading the daily quotes and other elements that are typically written in Japanese.
In my 2023 Hobonichi Weeks, I’m documenting my health and wellness journey. This is the area of my life that needs the most improvement, so I thought it would be helpful to create a dedicated journal for it!
Some of the things I write in this planner are:
- Small wins/highlights of the day
- Sleep tracking
- Menstrual cycle
- Health symptoms
- Daily habits (like taking my vitamins)
And finally, my work planner. This planner isn’t so much a daily planner, but more of a goals and ideas notebook. It’s what keeps Virgo and Paper functioning! I have divider tabs for all of the different activities I do in my business - my shop, surface design, teaching, making YouTube videos, etc.
I also utilize digital tools like Trello and iCal for planning my business. But, I’ve found that nothing compares to paper when it comes to taking notes or capturing ideas quickly. So a paper planner is very much essential for me!
I’d love to know which planners are in your 2023 lineup! Leave me a comment below, or over on my YouTube video. Happy new planner year!
