5 Ways to Use Cute Notepads (Besides a Grocery List)

| Ashton Womack

Do you have a stash of cute notepads and notebooks lying around? Notepads you’re too intimidated to write on? Yup, same.

It’s tempting to always save the cute notepads for something ‘more important’ than your grocery list.

As I’ve just launched new notepads at Virgo and Paper, I thought I’d share a fun list of ways to use the pretty notepads we all love to hoard.

The Unrealistic Wish List

You never know what might happen when you commit your dreams to paper - so go ahead and write those crazy ideas down.

The Tomorrow Morning List

I don’t know about you, but I tend to spend too much time first thing in the morning, clicking around trying to figure out what to work on, instead of actually working.

My favorite way to overcome a morning slump is to write a list in the evening (or end of the work day) with the exact steps you’ll take first thing in the morning. That way you don’t have to think - grab a glass of water or coffee and start checking off that list.

Encourage Someone

What better use for stationery, than correspondence? Leave a note for a loved one, a co-worker, or a random stranger, and let your pretty notepad put a smile on someone else’s face, too.

Add to Your Journal

Layer a sheet of note paper behind a photo for a junk journal vibe, or tip a note into your journal for extra writing space.

The Positive Affirmation

Write an uplifting quote or belief you’d like to adopt, and tape it to your mirror or near your desk so you can see it daily. What we think, we become. Use your notepad to become your best self!

Hope you loved these fun ideas for how to use your pretty notepads. What are your favorite ways to used your notepads? I’d love to hear your ideas in the comments!
